SUMMARY
This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of a single centre leadership development programme for biomedical researchers using a mixed-methods approach. There was marked variability in the BRS resilience scores for participants in the programme, which contrasted with self-reported improved resilience by most participants. It will nonetheless be worth incorporating the 6-item validated BRS into future healthcare leadership education programmes to investigate the impact of leadership development programmes on resilience in the absence of such a confounder as COVID-19, including, if possible, an appropriate control-group to control for environmental . . .
