HIGHLIGHTS
- What: In the following, the authors examine the forward model of Eq against MC simulations and apply it to experimental configuration of non-contact DRS in CIAD geometry probing over a ~2mm radius. This model that was original to CIAD, although useful as was shown experimentally , has been cumbersome to implement and prohibitive for analytical inversion. The aim of this work has been to develop a forward model of the CIAD geometry used for non-contact DRS that is simple enough for direct analytical inversion to obtain the spectral absorption.
