The measurement of contact angle of artificial saliva droplet on the outermost layer of the Hy-Cu filter, surgical mask and KN95 mask is shown in the Supplementary Fig S1. The standard tests that have been used to study the efficiency of the novel Hy-Cu filter include a pressure resistance test, a virus filtration test and a virus inactivation test.
