Onto extensions of free groups

HIGHLIGHTS

• who: Sebastià Mijares and Enric Ventura from the (UNIVERSITY) have published the research work: Onto extensions of free groups, in the Journal: (JOURNAL)
• what: The aim of this masters thesis was to understand the recent interesting counterexample given by Kolodner to a previous conjecture from Miasnikov-Ventura-Weil and to investigate further the new notions of onto and fully onto extensions of free groups motivated by it. As the authors show in the following result, all these generalizations of Parzanchevski-Puder's idea are, in fact, (tautologically) equivalent to the algebraicity of the initial extension . . .
