- what: The authors reported identifying L (V.) braziliensis in biopsied skin samples from dogs, from the border of active cutaneous lesions and from healing skin ulcers. Regarding the phlebotomine entomofauna identified in the study area, it was notable that at least four species that are considered potential vectors of the causative agent of ACL in the state of São Paulo were found.
