SUMMARY

    The study involved 22 dogs, divided into three groups according to the intensity of the physiotherapy protocol: group 1 included dogs that received an intensive physiotherapy protocol, group 2 dogs were treated with a moderate approach, and finally group 3 dogs did not receive any rehabilitation treatment. The outcome of this study shows that physiotherapy is a valid treatment in delaying the progression of the disease and extending survival, as the dogs included in the intensive physiotherapy protocol group had an average survival 12 of 18 time of 255 days versus 130 days of . . .
