  • what: Of note, the authors intended to analyze IL-1a production as well, but this was not possible since commercial ELISA reagents are not available for non-human primates. The authors demonstrate that P2RY6mediated signaling broadly amplifies TLR-induced proinflammatory signaling in microglia in particular. Based on the data and published literature, the authors propose that blocking of P2RY6-mediated signaling can indeed reduce neuroinflammation . . .
