Panomics reveals patient individuality as the major driver of colorectal cancer progression

  • who: Friederike Praus from the Paired tissue samples from normal adjacent colon mucosa (NM), corresponding primary colorectal carcinoma (T), and corresponding liver metastasis (LM) were obtained from four patients (P1-4)For one patient, we collected eight samples: normal colon mucosa, six samples from different locations within the primary tumour, and one sample from the corresponding liver metastasis. Table , presents all patient characteristics. All patients were diagnosed with metastasized colorectal carcinoma and underwent primary resection. Samples were surgically removed at the Department of Surgery, University Hospital Schleswig-Holstein, Campus Lu00fcbeck, and stored in liquid nitrogen until processing . . .
