SUMMARY

    The current evidence available regarding effective MCI management shows that GPs are placed in a unique position to support patients to manage MCI because non-pharmaceutical measures such as adjustment of the modifiable risk factors (e_g, smoking, diabetes, cerebrovascular disease) and cognitive interventions remain the most cost-effective strategies in MCI management, and all of these measures can be implemented in primary care settings.
