SUMMARY
The course was introduced in the second year of undergraduate dental training in order for students to become accustomed with the principles of dental ergonomics and acquire practical ergonomic skills before performing clinical procedures. The article aims to assess the need of dental ergonomics modules as an integrated part of the dental school curriculum and to quantify the significance and role of ergonomics in reducing musculoskeletal stress generated while undergoing dental training.
