The experiments showed no significant difference in the survival rates of pi4ku03b21 pi4ku03b22 compared to WT (Fig 2a). To address the function of PI4P in the formation of the phagophore, the authors focused on proteins that are only present on phagophores but dissociate from completed APs . . .
