- what: The authors demonstrate that both are present in the plasma membrane of nephrocytes but only PI(4 5)P2 accumulates at diaphragms. The aim of this study was to investigate the subcellular accumulation of these two phospholipids as well as their function in slit diaphragm assembly and nephrocyte development.
