- what: The authors aimed to utilise plasma polymerisation to functionalise standard wound care dressings with acrylic acid or allylamine and develop dressings which may enhance wound healing and lead to faster re-epithelialisation and improved collagen deposition. This study has shown thewound application formation then removed so as not impede re-epithelialisation andthat overall closure.
