  • who: Jonathan Simmons from the the Society of Edmonton Atheists (SEA), the University of Alberta Atheists and Agnostics (UAAA), and the Greater Edmonton Skeptics Society (GESS)I selected the above organizations based on the frequency of their meetings and events, their social media presence, and their reasonable proximity to one another. I initially began my fieldwork with the University of Alberta Atheists and Agnostics, which prided itself on its inclusivity and diversity, especially regarding the various identity labels one might find among the nonreligious.
