HIGHLIGHTS
- What: Given that TrxG facilitates the deposition of both H3K27ac and H3K4me3 (Tie et_al 2009; van Nuland et_al 2013), the authors propose a mechanism in which RYBP collaborates with WDR5 at SEs and further promotes the deposition of various active histone modifications, thereby enhancing eRNA transcription. This study shows that RYBP depletion reduces the chromatin deposition of WDR5 at chromatin.
