  • What: The authors aimed to compare the Intergrowth-21ST (IG-21ST ) and Fenton charts in predicting long-term neurodevelopmental and anthropometric outcomes of very low birth weight (VLBW) infants. Of these, 4623 infants were excluded for the following reasons: congenital anomalies (n=207), multiple gestations (n=3383), not discharged until postmenstrual age 50 weeks (n=276), and death before discharge (n=757).
