- What: The authors show how the textbook techniques of spectral thresholding and static notch filtering are straightforward to implement can run in real time and can mitigate several noise problems in EGG hardware. The aim here is not to propose an optimal solution for removing all noise from an EGG signal, but mainly to enable the detection of VF contacting, from the normalized peak dEGG being greater than 1.
