• What: The aim of this study was to develop a model to predict MS in people with CKD. Given the magnitude of MS and CKD and the complications related to them, efforts should therefore be made to enable studies aimed at early diagnosis of these pathologies. In this study, the high prevalence of MS in elderly people can be described by functional limitations, an increasingly sedentary lifestyle, and reduced physical activity, as described in other reports26.
