Predictive models based on machine learning for bone metastasis in patients with diagnosed colorectal cancer

SUMMARY

    Artificial_intelligence (AI) models based on machine_learning (ML) algorithms have been increasingly used in clinical practice. Among them, support vector machine (SVM) and other prediction models based on machine_learning are better at predicting the distant metastasis of tumors, such as gastric cancer, thyroid cancer, and prostate cancer. There are remain no studies using artificial_intelligence models to predict bone metastasis in CRC patients. This study used population-based data to identify risk factors associated with bone metastasis in CRC patients and then build an artificial_intelligence model to predict disease occurrence and help clinicians detect bone metastases . . .
