- who: Wei-Wen Lin and Ching-Heng Lin from the West Virginia University, United States have published the article: Prevalence of genetically defined familial hypercholesterolemia and the impact on acute myocardial infarction in Taiwanese population: A hospital-based study, in the Journal: (JOURNAL) of June/24,/2019
- what: This study demonstrated the prevalence of FH was 1.13% (one in 88 subjects) in the hospital-based population in Taiwan using comprehensive genotyping screening. The authors could not completely exclude the potential confounders in the present study, which should be explored in future studies.
