HIGHLIGHTS
- What: The aim of this research is to identify a possible connection between ABO blood group and ischemic stroke within the Nepalese population. Methods: A descriptive cross-sectional study was conducted in a tertiary care center after obtaining ethical approval from the Institutional Review Board (approval number 1149).Patients admitted to the hospital with clinical symptoms indicative of stroke and confirmed neuroimaging evidence of ischemic stroke during the study period from June 2020 to July 2024 were considered as cases.
