• What: To bridge these gaps, the primary aim of the study was to assess the proportion, type, and pattern of substance use among DVs. This study showed that 57.7% of the drivers had used alcohol before RTAs, supporting the results of similar analyses worldwide . The study reports that 37.6% of DVs had taken inadequate rests, and the finding is in support from earlier similar studies . This research examined sociodemographic parameters and substance use patterns, unlike other studies.
