SUMMARY
This article presents the findings concerning rape cases, especially how survivors of sexual violence can turn into "ideal victims" in the eyes of medical practitioners. The angry legislative debate that preceded enactment of the bill evidenced the presence of strong biases against survivors of sexual violence, referred as victims in the law and all the regulations.
