HIGHLIGHTS
- who: Ryoichiro Okawa and colleagues from the Graduate School of Technology, Gokiso-cho, Showa-ku, Nagoya, Japan have published the Article: Proton implantation into living cells under nonvacuum atmosphere, in the Journal: (JOURNAL)
- what: In this study, it was expected that the total kinetic energy supplied to the cells would be higher when higher voltage conditions or proton doses were provided.
- how: These results indicated that proton implantation at 2.5 kV for 60 s induced cell death and that the dead cells detached from the cover glass after the PBS rinse.
