    Conflict, social unrest, war, and other extreme experiences can adversely affect refugees` mental health and increase vulnerability to depression, anxiety, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) (e_g, Kirmayer et_al, 2011; Henkelmann et_al, 2020; Schlechter et_al, 2020).
