  • who: Wind Energ. Sci. and collaborators from the University of Stuttgart, Seidenstr36, Stuttgart, Germany have published the research work: Public acceptance of wind energy - concepts, empirical drivers and some open questions, in the Journal: (JOURNAL)
  • what: The survey focused on the perception and evaluation of renewables, especially the local acceptance. Swofford and Slattery also find evidence in favour of the proximity hypothesis on the basis of a mail survey in the USA conducted in 2009.
  • future: This should be taken into account in future research. But this has to be tested by future . . .
