- what: The authors examined the susceptibility of rifampicin discordant M. tuberculosis isolates against pyrazinamide to determine the appropriate treatment for the affected patients. With a resistance rate of 7.5%, the study shows that pyrazinamide resistance among discordant isolates was more in keeping with that of drug susceptible TB.
