- What: In this investigation CTZ loaded solid lipid nanoparticles (SLN) consisting of percirol ATO 5 and polysorbate 80 were successfully developed using high pressure homogenization and optimized with QbD approach to enhance skin penetration and improve its efficacy. The aim of the research is to develop topical gel based formulation of CTZ-SLNs for the management of cutaneous candidiasis by over-coming the side effects associated with the drug when administered orally/topically. In today`s era, increase in productivity with improved quality is the main focus of any manufacturing process.
