- what: The aim of this work is to determine if such an analysis can provide new objective metrics for potentially grading the outer photoreceptor contribution to the pupil light response in humans. The derivative analysis in this study assessed the early rapid pupillary dilation that immediately follows maximum contraction and such an analysis has not been previously applied to human pupillographic recordings.
