SUMMARY
In 1979, it was proposed that a Berezinski-Kosterlitz-Thouless (BKT) phase transition in two-dimensional superconducting films could occur, and its possible evidence was linked to the sheet resistance of the films. Later, interest was raised in the possible observation of BKT transition on two-dimensional arrays of superconductive islands shaped to form closed loops when connected by Josephson junctions. The difference is normalized to the value of the average reference current at each specific magnetic_field value and, therefore, what the authors measure is the relative percentage of the increase in the Josephson . . .
