SUMMARY
What are the key character traits of quantum mechanics which distinguish it from classical mechanics? Several features could be mentioned, including e_g the quantum indeterminacy relation, the superposition of complexvalued probability amplitudes, quantum entanglement, and non-locality, to mention some. To the best of the author`s knowledge, there is no wellknown definition of fidelity in the other most commonly used mathematical representations of non-relativistic quantum mechanics, e_g the phase-space formulation or the spacetime approach by Feynman.
