- how: Their results showed that plasma citrulline concentration is lower in patients with villous atrophy than in healthy subjects and negatively correlates with the severity of villous atrophy. Indicated that the activation of CD4+ T-cells and levels of sCD14 LBP and CRP were all decreased after probiotic supplementation .
