SUMMARY

    Many international studies-as well as a few studies undertaken in France-have focused on the measures that support the emotional and sex lives of such people and on the training that the professionals who care for them require. The international studies undertaken on the issue have given rise to a vast body of literature, ranging from instrumental approaches to sexuality to reflections that focus more on the love lives of people with an intellectual disability. This systematic review seeks to analyze the representations of professionals from specialized institutions (educators, carers, nurses, psychologists, executives . . .
