- what: The aim of the present pilot study was to test the effectiveness (no recurrence nor subsequent loosening) and the safety (absence of major complications) of the minimally invasive prophylactic treatment of isolated osteolyses without cup or liner exchange in apparently wearless THAs. The technique was shown to be accurate enough for the purposes of the research.
