- what: The authors aimed to explore the clinical relevance between cerebral vascular fenestration and other associated cerebral vascular diseases. The study proposed that the atherothrombotic process could be initiated because of the hemodynamic changes in the arterial branching site, progressing toward the proximal edge of the fenestration.
