  • What: The aim of this study was to evaluate the postoperative complications of patients undergoing resection surgery with perioperative factors. The rationale of this study was to determine the perioperative factors leading to increased morbidity and mortality following major liver resection, the correlation of postoperative complications such as respiratory issues, acute kidney injury, metabolic disturbances, length of stay and readmission in critical care, total length of hospital stay, cardiac events, and pulmonary embolism.
