To see which VR interventions are the best fit for a given disabled worker, labour experts and caseworkers consider the factors prohibiting the worker from returning to work and the factors which may promote their RTW. Currently, the assessments made by labour experts and caseworkers are not evidence-based, but rather practice-based due to insufficient scientific knowledge regarding factors that are barriers for RTW and VR interventions that are effective.
