SUMMARY
Smartphones have become the principal source of communication and information exchange in the daily lives. Reduced active movement in the cervical region has been linked to alterations in the passive components of the cervical spine, which can result in various consequences that involve disruption of operational activities, impaired defensive and restorative responses, and diminished neck mobility. There is a dearth of studies in the literature on changes in cervical rotation and cervical proprioception in the asymptomatic population, which prompted the authors to conduct this study.
