- how: The RV were all cloned from clinical isolates and three of the four M. catarrhalis strains used in the study were isolated from clinical samples to mimic conditions in_vivo. The types used in the study were RV-A16 RV-A36 RV-B52 RV-B72 RV-C2 and RV-C15 (Bochkov et_al 2011 Lee et_al 2012 Nakagome et_al 2014).
