Riparian plant litter quality increases with latitude

• who: Luz Boyero from the Leaf litter was collected from the riparian woody vegetation of , streams, located at latitudes between, u00b0N and, u00b0S (Fig3). All streams drained forested catchments with little human influence. The riparian vegetation was representative of the locality, with at least, % canopy cover (Supplementary Table, ). We collected freshly fallen leaves from several species along each stream, to reflect the composition of leaves most commonly found in the streams.
