- What: This study aims to address these research questions. This study explores that multinational lead buyers` role is not optimal for ensuring worker voices in their sourcing partners in upstream of the global value chain (GVC). This study shows how social dialogues can meet the expectations of buyers and suppliers, outlining the benefits of social dialogues. Examining both aspects, this study provides a more comprehensive insight into how these interactions can be used to promote better working conditions and employee representation in the garment value chain.
