• who: Marya Morevati and colleagues from the Department of Nephrology, Rigshospitalet, University of Copenhagen, Copenhagen, Denmark have published the paper: Roles of NAD+ in Acute and Chronic Kidney Diseases, in the Journal: (JOURNAL)
• what: The authors showed a decrease in the level of Klotho in the IRI-induced AKI rats; however, the authors could not see a change in the level of Klotho after treatment with NR . This study shows that NMNAT 1/3 are both downregulated in CKD models.
