    Individual teeth segmentation has been achieved through a geometric approach and a machine_learning approach. Trials to segment teeth using machine_learning are challenging because of the high variability of teeth shapes among humans and the necessity to develop a trained network and a machine_learning model capable of segmenting teeth with high accuracy.
