Rat, the authors have previously developed sex-specific computational models of solute and water transport along Sprague-Dawley rat nephrons (Li et_al, 2018; Hu et_al, 2019; Hu et_al, 2020), and applied those models to investigate sex differences in kidney function and in responses to pharmacological manipulations (Hu et_al, 2021; Swapnasrita et_al, 2022).
