- What: The authors examine whether shared demographic characteristics facilitate persuasion in interpersonal conversations using data from eight experiments across four distinct domains: transphobia, abortion, immigration, and partisan animosity. The second arm in this study had no effect. One limitation of the analysis is that all of the eligible studies were conducted in the United_States.
