• how: The authors evaluated the enzymatic activity of SIRT2 against 26 synthetic histone peptides bearing lactyl group at the lysine site previously identified in HeLa cells (Supplementary Table S1)3 and found that SIRT2 was able to remove the lactyl moieties from many of the tested lysine sites (Supplementary Table S1).
