The Spirit of the CORRESPONDENCE ADDRESS: Sławomir Patyra, PhD, Dr. Habil. At the same time, the process of building a new state elite was initiated, but this time the main source of its selection was not the Sejm. The constitutional crisis affecting the Republic and the prospect of a return to "democratic normal" should encourage to reflection on a possible adjustment of the status of the second chamber in the near future. In accordance with the aforementioned principle of the system of government of the Republic of Poland, it should therefore be assumed . . .
