- who: Shellie Wall and colleagues from the School of Life Sciences, University of Essex, Colchester, SQ, UK have published the paper: Stomata on the abaxial and adaxial leaf surfaces contribute differently to leaf gas exchange and photosynthesis in wheat, in the Journal: (JOURNAL)
- how: The authors examined these responses in eight wheat cultivars (parents of the NIAB MAGIC population) and as a direct comparison to wheat the dicot species Phaseolus vulgaris was included in the study. All statistical analysis was conducted in the R software environment (www.r-project.org v.3.5.3).
