- What: The authors show that observing an intercycle interference-free spider-leg-like PH pattern is useful for directly validating the Coulomb field-induced Gouy phase effect on the electron waves. In comparison with the theoretical results from the CQSFA method, the authors demonstrate that the measured fishbone-like PH pattern can indeed be used to determine the internuclear separation of a target molecule.
