Epoxy resins (ER) are highly reactive due to the presence of epoxy and hydroxyl groups in the oligomeric chains. The epoxy group is able to react with more than 50 functional_groups of various chemical nature, as well as with substrates containing reactive groups on their surface, which leads to a high adhesive strength of ER after curing and the possibility of their use in the production of a large number of composite materials.
